ABOUT FACT RWANDA
FACT-RWANDA is a Rwandan NGO that was formed in 1999 as a result of the genocide to address the issues of torture and organized violence. It was created through the coming together of human rights activists including lawyers, physicians, and students of the Medical Students Association (MEDSA) of the National University of Rwanda.
It has a formal constitution in place outlining all rights and responsibilities of the organization. The main activities of FACT are divided into two categories: prevention and rehabilitation.
